This
ATE test station is the answer to volume testing of
cellular phones. This test set combines an extremely
fast dual channel analog multitone analyzer, which
reduces typical test durations by a factor of 10 to
50, with an extremely capable, flexible cellular radio
test set that combines the function of 22 instruments
into one test instrument and has a frequency range
from 250KHz to 1GHz.
Part of a full-functional test suite, the receiver
and transmitter function of the cell phone can be
fully characterized and, for the audio testing, a
wide spectrum of tests are simultaneously measured
on the demodulated audio signal: level, total distortion,
noise, inter-channel phase and crosstalk.
