This
ATE was designed to test ring laser gyro assemblies.
The ATE provided DC-excitation for the laser plasma.
An RF generator was utilized to maintain the laser
beam amplitude at a predetermined amplitude. The test
station produced rotation effects and evaluated the
gyro output to determine gyro accuracy.
We produced a custom test interface assembly to accomodate
the ring laser gyro seating and module configuration
requirements.
