EADS North America Test and
Services Appoints
Karl Wickizer As its Business Development Manager in
Huntsville, Alabama
Irvine,
CA, January 11, 2008 -
EADS North America Test and Services has appointed Karl
Wickizer to the newly-created position of Business Development
Manager in Huntsville, Alabama, with the focus on Army
programs related to test, measurement, logistics, and
electronic systems. He will lead the company's efforts
to establish Total System Life Management technologies
as the standard for defense customers.

North America Test and Services. "His demonstrated
ability to lead, manage, and mentor - as well as his
knowledge of the customer - were key factors in our
choice of Karl for this position. He brings a unique
background and capabilities to the company. With more
than 20 years of experience, Karl is well versed in
electronic warfare applications and development, turbine
engine design and production, helicopter design and
manufacture, and extensive expertise in program management/business
development activities."
Before
joining EADS North America Test and Services, Wickizer
was responsible for electronic warfare program execution
and business development at Sierra Nevada Corporation.
Previously, he was the Rolls-Royce Corporation's program
manager for special technologies, the T63 engine product
line, and the CTS 800 engine product line. Prior to
Rolls-Royce, Wickizer served with the U.S. Army for
23 years, retiring in 1998 as a Lieutenant Colonel.
He was a Senior Army Aviator rated in both fixed and
rotary wing aircraft.
Wickizer
received a Bachelor's Degree in General Science from
Purdue University and a Master's Degree in both Management
and Business Administration from Webster University.
He is a certified Project Management Professional with
the Project Management Institute, and a Department of
Defense Acquisition Professional.
