Program Sets
EADS
North America Defense Test & Services has extensive
experience in the design, development, production and long
term support of Test Program Sets (TPS). The company provides
TPSs for both its own ATE systems and those originally provided
by third parties.

Test
Program Sets may be designed to test a Unit Under
Test (UUT) in a number of different support environments
including; Production, Field, or Maintenance Depot
Level on the designated test equipment. Test Program
Sets include hardware, software and documentation
items to customize an ATE system to the specific test
requirements of the UUT. Formulating test strategies
to meet the development, production, operating and
maintenance scenarios. Test

test program software to suit the target ATE platform.
We can provide test programs written in all industry
standard test languages as required by the customer.
The company uses modern test software design tools, which
provide seamless development environments between test
requirement definition, test program code generation,
on-line help generation and long term support. Test programs
can be developed in formats suitable for hosting on multiple
ATE platforms and offering protection against future obsolescence
of ATE platforms.
EADS North America Defense Test & Services uses advanced
test technologies in both its hardware and software architectures
to prevent instrument changes within a system from impacting
on the TPS. Our approach covers both existing ATE systems
and new designed ATEs using tools such as isolATE™
and GENIE.
EADS
North America Defense Test & Services has many
years of experience designing and building ITAs.
ITAs are built using industry standard Commercial-Off-The-Shelf
(COTS) components (where possible) to maximize reliability
and supportability. The goal is to develop an ITA
that is simple and has no active components. We
will minimize the use of active components, when
they are necessary.

- Special
Instrumentation
EADS
North America Defense Test & Services integrates
the TPS into the test system. A test system may
be general purpose in nature with a defined interface
performance and parametric envelope. In cases
where the resources within the general purpose
test system are not sufficient to meet the test
requirements of a particular UUT, we can design
special test instruments and resources which supplement
the ATE resources.
