Rehosting of Test Program Sets

EADS North America Defense Test & Services has over 40 years experience in the design and development of test equipment solutions. It provides Post Design Services (PDS) for its own equipment and takes responsibility for other test systems where the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) has ceased its own long-term support. Test systems must support the Unit Under Test (UUT) for which they were originally designed for as long as is required. In the case of many applications into the area of fast moving consumer goods only a few years support may be required at most. However in many instances the UUT can be expected to remain in service with the user for decades; in the case of military projects 25+ years is normal.

EADS North America Defense Test & Services designs test systems and test programs with obsolescence in mind. This ensures that the long-term requirement for a test system is not adversely affected by the Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) instruments within it. COTS instruments usually tend to have lifecycles of between 5 and 15 years. Therefore in is not unusual for a test system to require at least one partial or full update during its lifetime.

ATE Upgrades

EADS North America Defense Test & Services has updated many test systems and from this experience has devised methods and tools to ensure that today's Test Program Sets (TPS) can be carried across into whatever form of update may eventually occur on the original test system platform.

If you have a test system, which is obsolete and cannot be supported, protect your investment in developed test programs by coming to us first.
